Abstract: In this thesis, the potential of using jute fiber as a sustainable and cost-effective reinforcement material in concrete constructions is explored. The study examines the mechanical, durability, and environmental characteristics of jute fiber-reinforced self-compacting concrete (JFRSCC). Experimental investigations show that adding jute fibers improves the tensile strength of concrete and enhances its resilience against environmental deterioration. The findings suggest that using jute fiber as reinforcement in concrete can promote sustainable and economically feasible construction methods.
