High-precision monitoring of structural movements in deep foundations using advanced surveying equipment
Author(s): Dr. Jeroen Janssen and Anneke Bakker
Abstract: This study explores the high-precision monitoring of structural movements in deep foundations using advanced surveying equipment. The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of various modern surveying tools and techniques in capturing minute displacements and deformations in deep foundation structures. Utilizing equipment such as Total Stations, GNSS, and Inclinometers, we conducted a series of field experiments and compared the results with traditional methods. The results demonstrate that advanced surveying technologies significantly improve the accuracy and reliability of monitoring structural movements in deep foundations, making them indispensable for modern structural health monitoring systems.
