Sustainable construction in the built environment so as to mitigate the negative effects of climate change in Nigeria

Abstract: The effect of climate change is enormous and devastating in Nigeria to the extent that any effort that is meant to mitigate it is welcomed. Nigeria is a developing country and her construction industry is fledging and its potentials at solving problems such as the one posed by this paper should be harnessed. The study outlined the international best practices that make up sustainable construction practices and went ahead to proffer far reaching recommendations that will help to mitigate the negative effects of climate change in Nigeria.
