Abstract: Hydrological modeling plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficacy and safety of reinforced concrete dam (RCC) design and construction. This review paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the methodologies, tools, and best practices employed in hydrological modeling for optimal RCC dam design and construction. It discusses the significance of accurate hydrological data, the utilization of various modeling techniques, and the integration of hydrological analysis into the overall dam design process. Furthermore, it examines case studies and real-world applications to illustrate the importance of hydrological modeling in mitigating risks and enhancing the resilience of RCC dams.
